Experience:

Debra represents clients in complex business disputes.   She has a broad range of experience in practice areas including contract disputes, health care law, securities law, real estate, and cases brought under the False Claims Act.  Representative clients include hospitals, pharmacies, a global online travel company, and a mobile communications company.

Prior to joining the firm, Debra was an associate in the White Collar & Securities Defense group at McDermott, Will & Emery.  During law school, Debra served as an Intern in the civil division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

Pro Bono Activities:

Debra has devoted significant time to pro bono matters.  She has represented an individual in an immigration matter on appeal before the Ninth Circuit.  She has also represented clients during adoption proceedings and has volunteered to assist individuals seeking public benefits.  In addition, she first chaired a misdemeanor trial as a volunteer prosecutor for the City of Inglewood.
